So now I’m the grandparent, with my two son’s and step daughter. The grandchildren try hard to look cool!

Tyntesfield Estate - Dad and I installing a new fence to try and prevent the wild rabbits from eating all the vegetables on our allotment.

Rabbits can eat whatever takes their fancy these days. At least the post has lasted well after more than 45 years. We must have made a good job of installing it

A blonde haired Dad, with his Mother and brother John. Within a year, his Mum had a nervous breakdown and she was detained in a Mental Hospital for almost 30 years. Dad was not allowed to see her for almost 20 years! There was a happy ending in that upon her release she came to live with us for the best part of 20 years.

Myrtle Cottage, Nailsea - still recognisable - not that much has changed in 80 years. Dad currently lives about 400 metres away from his birthplace.
